It's been a while since I've made a skinny sweets recipe. I blame the upcoming holidays and the array of glorious dessert recipes that I could make. Oh Thanksgiving and Christmas, my taste buds love you but my waistline hates you.

Preparation Method

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the Cream Cheese, Sugar, Egg, Milk, Butter, Lemon Juice and Vanilla; beat unTil smooth. Combine the all all purpose flour, Baking Powder, Baking Powder and Salt; stir into Cream Cheese mixture just unTil moistened. Fold in Apple and bran flakes.
  2. 2 Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter.
  3. 3 Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or unTil a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. 4 Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
