Paruppu Urandai Kozhambu to mix with rice and have a go at. This dish can be made with Tamarind or with thick buttermilk. A very tasty stuff, it goes as a side-dish with Dosas too.

Preparation Method
- 01 Soak Gram Dal in Water for a couple of hours.
- 02 Grind it to a very coarse mix, adding Red Chilies, Fennel seed and 1/2 tsp Salt.
- 03 Make small lime sized balls from the mixture and steam them in idli plates in a pressure cooker.
- 04 Take a pan, heat Oil and add Mustard.
- 05 When the Mustard splutter, add the Onion and saute for a while.
- 06 Add Coriander Seedss powder, chilli and Turmeric Powderr powders and fry for few minutes adding Water.
- 07 Now add the steamed dal balls with this and cook for few minutes.
- 08 Grind the Coconut Grated with some Water to form a fine paste and add to the kozHambu.
- 09 Paruppu Urundai KuzHambu is ready to serve.
