Paneer Cake is fresh paneer mixed with the sugar and semolina and flavoured with cardamom, this paneer is then baked till it is golden brown from outside and thoroughly cooked from inside.

Preparation Method

  1. 1 Take Paneer. Allow all the Water to drain, Till it becomes stiff.
  2. 2 Then to this Paneer, add sooji. maida flour, Soda, 1/2 cup Sugar.
  3. 3 Mix all very well.In a non-stick pan, lightly grease with Butter and put on low heat.
  4. 4 Add the Paneermixture.Cover and let cook.
  5. 5 when one side is light brown, remove the cake on a plate and slide it back to thesame pan to cook the other side to brown.
  6. 6 Towards the other side, make chashni(Sugar syrup). To the rest 1/2 cup Sugar, add 1cup Water.
  7. 7 Add Cardamom Powder. When the Paneer cake is done, pour hot chashni(Sugarsyrup) on the top, while it sTill is in the heat.
  8. 8 Cover and let cook in slow heat for a minute.
  9. 9 Then off the heat and let the Paneer cake cool in the room temperature.
  10. 10 Cut intoslices and serve.
