This is a very delicious and nutritious recipe of carrot rice made from groundnuts, carrots and spices like cinnamon and cloves.

Preparation Method

  1. 1 Heat one tbsp Oil in a shallow pan and add Mustard.
  2. 2 When they splutter, add Urad Dal and Cashew Nut nuts.
  3. 3 When the Cashew Nut nuts are brown, add Onion and green Chilieses.
  4. 4 Fry Till the Onion are golden.
  5. 5 Add Turmeric Powderr, Salt and Red Chili Powder. Fry for a minute.
  6. 6 Mix in the Carrot and sprinkle little Water.
  7. 7 Keep the pan covered, on a low flame, Till the Carrot are done.
  8. 8 Add bOiled Green Peas.
  9. 9 Mix in the Rice.
  10. 10 Add Lemon Juice.
  11. 11 Garnish with finely cut Coriander Seedss leaves.
