Badam Phirni is a very popular dish from the North India and people who love eating Kheer or Payasam will surely like this dessert. This dish is quite easy and simple to make and is an ideal dessert during festivals, feasts, occasions or religious rituals at home.

Preparation Method

  1. 01 The Rice needs to be soaked in the Water for few hours. It can also be kept overnight, strain the excess Water and then grind it into smooth paste.
  2. 02 Take Milk in a saucepan. Put it over medium flame, put Sugar, Rice, and Cardamom in the Milk and stir continuously and let the Milk get thickened.
  3. 03 Remove the Milk from the flame and add Almond to it. Pour it in the serving bowls and refrigerate.The tasty phirni is ready.

    soaking rice over night gives a sour tasteand adding more sugar will add palatablity
