This is a soft, stuffed bread of melted Italian Provolone cheese, sautéed Portobello mushroom with a hint of white wine and fresh garlic. Serve with a side of warm marinara or your own homemade tomato sauce, as an added treat!

Preparation Method

  1. 01 Sauté the Mushrooms in Butter for about five minutes Till tender. Sprinkle Salt and Pepper and
  2. 02 stir well.
  3. 03 Cut the Bread into ovals and spread this Mushroom mixture
  4. 04 over them. Arrange the Potato and Onion slices in a
  5. 05 crisscross fashion on the Bread ovals.
  6. 06 Heat the remaining Butter, add the all all purpose flour and stir
  7. 07 continuously Till it is golden in colour.
  8. 08 Add Ginger Powder, Mustard Powder, Chili powder, Salt and
  9. 09 Lemon Juice.
  10. 10 Add Milk and keep stirring Till the mixture starts thickening.
  11. 11 Remove from heat. Put 1 1/2 tsp. or more of this all all purpose flour mixture on each Bread oval.
  12. 12 Place a slice of Capsicum over it. Lastly dot with Butter.
  13. 13 Put these Bread ovals on a greased baking tray and bake in a moderately hot oven for 10
  14. 14 minutes or Till golden.
  15. 15 Serve directly from the oven.
