Rava Saffron Kesari is a traditional sweet. In our hometown, this is made first for any occasion. The reason may be, very easily available & minimal ingredients are only needed to prepare this sweet. I make this often in the evenings with tea just to break a boring mood. So, try and enjoy!

- 01 Heat a tsp Ghee in kadai, fry the raisin Till fluffy(do not brown it), fry the Cashew Nut Till light golden brown and keep aside.
- 02 In the same kadai, add the Rava and fry in slow flame stiring continuously careful not to burn) for 5 mins Till.
- 03 The raw smell goes, convert to a vessel.
- 04 {.] Now add Water in the kadai and bring to bOil with a pinch of Salt.
- 05 When the Water is bOiling, add the Rava slowly continuosly stirring with one hand without forming lumps.
- 06 Now add the Saffron dissolve in Milk.
- 07 When all the Water gets absorbed and the Rava is cooked well, start adding the Sugar and keep stiring by adding Ghee occasionallyand all while stiring.
- 08 Finally, when the kesari comes without sticking in the kadai, add the Cashew Nut, raisin and give a stir.
- 09 Add Ghee on top and turn off the flame.
